Labor/Management Luncheons & Meetings

For over 50 years, the Catholic Seafarers' Center has developed strong relationships with leaders in the labor and maritime industries, and we believe that cultivating positive relationships between labor and management leads to better working conditions for all those who make a living in the maritime industry.

As part of our work in forging stronger connections in the maritime community to benefit seafarers, we host monthly "Labor/Management Luncheons", usually on the third Thursday of each month, in November, January, and May. 
Sponsoring organizations pay for the costs of publicizing and hosting the event, and those in the maritime community who attend bring prizes from their office for us to raffle off at the end of our luncheon.  The door donations and raffle ticket costs go to support our ministry to seafarers.
